Sometimes you exaggerate Umair, but this time you are exactly on target. You can see it in the voter suppression laws that Republican state governments are passing that also make it easier to overturn an election. You can see it in the fact that the Republicans are not even willing to discuss or debate the voting rights bills in the Senate. Unfortunately, the Republican Party has decided that it can't win fair and democratic elections where the people can hear what is actually happening and they can easily vote. It's not just Umair saying this. It's hundreds of noted historians, and major media outlets. Our democracy is facing the biggest challenge we have seen in our lifetimes. It's not a time to be complacent. It's time to stand up for our rights as citizens of this country.
